Description
Marta Kownacka is a respected casting director who worked in over 50 feature films and in multi-season productions of television series, her output includes many famous films awarded at festivals for the main female and male acting roles. She works with Polish and international directors and film producers, and is interested in newcomer actors and unobvious casting choices. She is in favour of the strong relationship between the casting director and actors.
Kownacka studied film production at a film school in Katowice and screenwriting in £odz, now is actively involved in advancing casting practices in Poland, also works and conducts classes at the Film School in Lodz. She is a member of the International Casting Directors Network (ICDN).
